CONSIDER A CONTRIBUTION
Siskiyou Singers is dedicated
to its community as well as to performing quality music. Our singers
are involved in community service and outreach by establishing musical
enrichment programs with schools, and volunteering to appear at
community events such as the Festival of Lights, parades, and the
Feast of Will. In the past our outreach has included the formation
of a children's choir and sharing music and goodwill with the international
community. Our members come from all economic sectors and all walks
of life. All donate their efforts and time, and each one pays for
the privilege of singing.
A few years ago we invested in seated risers to enable those
who cannot stand for long periods to still be members of the
choir.
Despite rising costs, we struggle to maintain our
commitment to the community by keeping ticket prices low. Fees paid
by singers and ticket sales make up the largest part of our general
operating costs. For the remainder, we are dependent upon donations
as our only other means of support. Many arts organizations such as
ours could not exist without the contributions of friends and
supporters.
Your tax-deductible donations will allow the Siskiyou
Singers to continue to provide the community with quality musical
performances. We greatly appreciate your generosity and thank
you for your support. All donors will be listed in our 2007-2008
season programs.
