How do I join?

Auditions for Fall will be held on Tuesday, September 2, 2008 at 6:15 PM at Wesley Hall of the First United Methodist Church, 175 N. Main at Laurel.

Membership in Siskiyou Singers is by audition and is granted at the sole discretion of the music director.

Auditions are held the first day of every term in Wesley Hall of The First United Methodist Church in Ashland, 175 N. Main at Laurel (across the street from Briscoe School). For the Fall Concert, auditions for new singers will be held on Tuesday September 2, 2008 at 6:15 PM. Participation in small groups and solo performances are the music director's choice and may or may not involve a special audition. Soloists are customarily chosen from choir members, but the director may deviate from this policy as he wishes.

Fees:

Each member pays a $30 fee per term to the Siskiyou Singers. Part of the fee goes to our listing in Continuing Education at SOU. The remainder of the fee goes to pay for the music and to defray the cost of producing the concerts.

Under normal circumstances, you may keep your music or return it to our library. At times, a piece of music will be so expensive and/or we must borrow it from another organization. This music must be returned to the Siskiyou Singers.

Practices are on Tuesday evenings 7:30-9:30 PM with additional practices scheduled as needed. Practices are held in Wesley Hall of the First Methodist Church of Ashland.
